Rendered locally after external references are removed
Scripts, foreign objects and references to external files are removed before rendering. Embedded shapes, gradients and data-image assets remain.
Convert an SVG in three steps
- Choose or drop an SVG.
- Check the safe preview and choose 1×, 2×, 3× or 4×.
- Convert and download the PNG.
Safe local rendering
SVG can contain scripts, remote images and other active references. This converter removes those features before placing the artwork into the browser image renderer. That can change artwork which intentionally depends on a remote font or asset, but it prevents a supposedly local conversion from quietly contacting a third party.
Frequently asked questions
Does the PNG keep transparency?
Yes. No background is added, so transparent parts of the SVG stay transparent.
What does the scale control do?
It multiplies the SVG intrinsic width and height. A 400×200 SVG at 3× becomes a 1200×600 PNG.
Why can an external image or font disappear?
External references, scripts and foreign objects are removed before rendering so the SVG cannot contact another server. Embedded shapes, gradients and data-image assets remain.
Are there size limits?
SVG input is limited to 5 MB, intrinsic sides to 8192 pixels and the final PNG to 40 million pixels to avoid exhausting browser memory.
Is my SVG uploaded?
No. Sanitizing, previewing and rendering all happen in your browser.
